Affiliate & Partner Disclosure
Credit Advise works with a network of third-party financial service providers and affiliate partners that may include, but are not limited to:
- Credit reporting agencies
- Credit monitoring providers
- Personal loan lenders
- Auto loan providers
- Mortgage brokers or lenders
- Credit card issuers
- Debt settlement or debt relief providers
- Financing partners
- Financial technology platforms
Some of these partners may compensate Credit Advise for referrals, introductions, or successful applications submitted through our platform. This compensation may include referral fees, marketing fees, commissions or paid advertising within our platform. Such compensation does not increase the cost of financial products offered by third-party providers, although product pricing and approval decisions are determined solely by those third parties. Credit Advise does not guarantee approval for any financial product.
Authorization to Share Information
By creating an account, using the Credit Advise platform, or submitting information through our website or portal, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are voluntarily providing personal and financial information to Credit Advise.
- You authorize Credit Advise to use this information to provide credit improvement tools and services.
- You authorize Credit Advise to share information you choose to submit with third-party partners when you request services, submit applications, or interact with financial product recommendations through the platform.
Information may be shared with third-party providers for purposes that include: evaluating eligibility for financial products, processing credit or loan applications, providing credit monitoring services, providing debt settlement or financial services, and delivering financial product recommendations. Credit Advise only shares information necessary to facilitate the services or requests you initiate.
Third-Party Services
Third-party financial service providers operate independently from Credit Advise. Credit Advise does not control third-party approval decisions, does not guarantee loan or credit approvals, and is not responsible for the policies or practices of third-party providers. Users should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services they choose to engage with.
Consent to Electronic Communication
By using the Credit Advise platform you consent to receive communications from Credit Advise and its service partners electronically, including email communications, platform notifications, SMS messages (where consent is provided), and account alerts and updates. You may opt out of certain communications at any time.
AI Dispute and Document Generation Disclaimer
Credit Advise provides AI-powered tools that assist users in generating dispute letters, creditor correspondence, and debt settlement offers. These tools are designed to help users prepare documents that they may choose to submit to credit bureaus, creditors, lenders, or collection agencies. Documents generated through the Credit Advise platform may contain personal or financial information depending on the details entered by the user.
By using these tools you acknowledge and agree that:
- Credit Advise only provides document generation tools and templates.
- All documents generated through the platform are reviewed, edited, and submitted solely by the user.
- It is the user's responsibility to verify the accuracy of all information contained in any document before sending or submitting it.
- Users are responsible for adding, removing, or redacting any personal information prior to submitting documents.
Many creditors, lenders, and collection agencies may require proof of identity when responding to disputes or settlement requests. Users are responsible for determining what information is necessary to include in their submissions. Credit Advise does not submit disputes or settlement offers on behalf of users and does not communicate with creditors, lenders, or credit reporting agencies on a user's behalf unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement. Users are solely responsible for any documents they choose to send using materials generated through the Credit Advise platform.
No Guarantee of Results
Credit Advise provides software tools, educational resources, and automated document generation features designed to assist users in understanding and addressing items that may appear on their credit reports. Credit Advise does not guarantee:
- The removal of any credit report item
- Acceptance of any dispute by a credit reporting agency
- Acceptance of any settlement offer by a creditor or collection agency
- Any increase in a user's credit score
- Approval for any loan, credit card, mortgage, or other financial product
Credit Advise does not control the actions, policies, or decisions of credit bureaus, lenders, creditors, debt collectors, or other third parties. All decisions regarding credit reporting, lending, settlements, and account status are made solely by those third parties. Submitting disputes, creditor correspondence, or settlement offers through documents generated by the Credit Advise platform does not guarantee any outcome.
No Legal or Financial Advice
The information, tools, AI-generated content, and materials provided through the Credit Advise platform are intended for informational and educational purposes only. Credit Advise does not provide legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, or credit counseling services. Users should seek advice from qualified professionals such as licensed lawyers, financial advisors, or credit counselors when appropriate.
User Responsibility for Information Accuracy
Users are responsible for ensuring that any information they provide to the Credit Advise platform is accurate, complete, and lawful. Credit Advise relies on information provided by users in order to generate recommendations, analysis, and documents. Credit Advise is not responsible for errors, omissions, or consequences resulting from inaccurate information submitted by users.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Canadian law, Credit Advise, its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and technology providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial damages arising from:
- The use or inability to use the Credit Advise platform
- Credit score changes
- Lending or credit decisions made by third parties
- Disputes submitted to credit reporting agencies
- Settlement negotiations with creditors or collectors
- Reliance on AI-generated recommendations or documents
Users agree that their use of the Credit Advise platform is at their own risk.
Indemnification
By using the Credit Advise platform, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Credit Advise, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or legal expenses arising from misuse of the platform, submission of inaccurate or fraudulent information, improper use of documents generated by the platform, or violations of applicable laws or regulations.
Acceptable Use Policy
Users agree not to use the Credit Advise platform for any unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes. Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
- Submitting fraudulent disputes
- Impersonating another individual
- Providing knowingly false financial information
- Attempting to manipulate or abuse credit reporting systems
- Using the platform to harass creditors, lenders, or collection agencies
Credit Advise reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior.
Electronic Consent and Digital Signatures
By creating an account and using the Credit Advise platform, users consent to conducting business electronically. This includes accepting agreements electronically, receiving disclosures electronically, and submitting documents electronically. Electronic signatures and electronic acceptance of agreements shall have the same legal effect as physical signatures under applicable Canadian electronic commerce legislation.
Credit Information and Soft Credit Check Authorization
Where applicable, users may be presented with opportunities to access credit monitoring services or financial products through third-party partners. By requesting such services, users authorize Credit Advise and its partners to access relevant credit information where permitted by law and where explicit consent is provided. Credit Advise itself does not make lending decisions and does not guarantee credit approval.
Intellectual Property Rights
All software, AI systems, content, branding, graphics, and materials provided through the Credit Advise platform are the intellectual property of Credit Advise or its licensors. Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal use only. Users may not copy or reproduce platform software, reverse engineer platform systems, resell or commercially exploit platform tools, or distribute AI-generated templates as proprietary products.
Account Suspension or Termination
Credit Advise reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in suspicious or fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform. Users may cancel their account at any time by contacting support or using account settings where available.
Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute arising from the use of the Credit Advise platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to binding arbitration in the Province of Alberta in accordance with applicable arbitration legislation.
Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, users agree that any disputes with Credit Advise will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.
Updates to Terms
Credit Advise may modify or update these terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted on the website and will become effective upon posting unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
AI System Disclosure
Credit Advise utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to assist users with credit analysis, document generation, recommendations, and financial education tools. AI systems may analyze information submitted by users in order to generate suggestions, dispute templates, settlement letters, or credit improvement guidance. AI-generated content is provided for informational and convenience purposes only. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or incomplete information. Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated recommendations or documents prior to using them. Credit Advise does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or effectiveness of AI-generated outputs.
Financial Marketplace Disclosure
Credit Advise may operate as a financial product marketplace that introduces users to financial institutions and service providers including lenders, credit card issuers, financing companies, credit monitoring providers, and other financial service organizations. Financial product recommendations may be based on user-provided information, eligibility indicators, or algorithmic matching systems. Credit Advise may receive compensation from financial partners when users apply for financial products, are approved for financial products, or purchase third-party services. Compensation arrangements do not influence credit approval decisions made by third-party providers. All lending decisions, pricing, and approval criteria are determined solely by the financial institutions providing those products.
Marketing Consent and CASL Compliance
By creating an account, submitting information, or interacting with the Credit Advise platform, users consent to receiving electronic communications in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). These communications may include service notifications, account updates, credit improvement tips, product recommendations, and promotional offers from Credit Advise or its partners. Users may withdraw consent or unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe mechanisms provided in communications or by contacting Credit Advise.
Fraud Prevention and Identity Verification
Credit Advise may implement identity verification procedures, fraud detection systems, and risk monitoring tools to protect the integrity of the platform and prevent misuse. Users may be required to provide additional information to verify identity when submitting disputes, accessing credit data, or requesting financial product referrals. Credit Advise reserves the right to refuse service or suspend accounts where fraudulent activity or identity misuse is suspected.
API and Data Integration Disclaimer
The Credit Advise platform may integrate with third-party technology providers, APIs, financial data providers, and credit monitoring services. While Credit Advise works with reputable technology partners, the platform does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation of third-party systems. Credit Advise shall not be liable for errors, delays, or interruptions caused by third-party systems or data providers.
Platform Availability Disclaimer
Credit Advise strives to maintain reliable platform availability; however, the website and software services are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. Credit Advise does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, system updates, technical issues, or third-party service disruptions.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional disclosures presented within the Credit Advise platform, constitute the entire agreement between users and Credit Advise regarding use of the services. If any provision of these terms is determined to be unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
